ARYAVARTAAryavarta Policy was founded to bring rigour, clarity, and accessibility to India's policy discourse. We believe democracy deepens when citizens understand the laws being made in their name.

India's legislative calendar is dense. Hundreds of bills are tabled, amended, and passed each session, yet most citizens learn of them only through fragmentary news coverage, if at all.
Aryavarta Policy was founded with a singular conviction: that a functional democracy requires an informed citizenry, and that informing citizens is serious, worthy work. Our research draws from direct parliamentary experience — not from the sidelines.
Aryavarta Policy was founded by Ansh Rustagi, a student of the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi. He has worked with Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Member of Parliament, and has contributed to a Private Member Bill on climate-resilient infrastructure for the Himalayan region.
His experience working directly within the parliamentary process is what shapes Aryavarta Policy's approach research that is grounded in how governance actually works, communicated so that every citizen can engage with it.
